Description

(DRA 465/SPN 465) Principal tendencies in Spanish theater in the 20th century. Including an analysis of the major works of dramatists such as Benavente, Valle-Inclán, García Lorca, Mihura, Buero Vallejo, Alfonso Sastre, Carlos Muniz, Lauro Olmo, Arrabal, Antonio Gala, and others. (literature). Prerequisite: SPN 313 or equivalent. Dramatic arts students should also consider: ENL 272 Playwriting I, ENL 373 Playwriting II, and ENL 435 Playwright's Workshop.
