1 hour; 1 credit. Weekly instruction that helps the student to develop the technical and musical skills necessary to perform as a singer or instrumentalist. The student will be assigned standard repertoire for the voice/instrument according to ability, with the goal of public performance. Pre or corequisites: ENG 111; COR 100; MUS 120 or MUS 125 and MUS 123 and an audition and permission of a full-time Music faculty member.Corequisite: MUS 180
