Description
(CIN 274 / ENL 274). 4 hours; 4 credits. An introduction to the craft of screenwriting, concentrating on classic narrative form. Students write multiple drafts of a script for a short film, read and discuss their work in progress, and analyze professional screenplays to gain an understanding of formatting, structure, characterization, and plot development. For English majors and minors, this is designated as a writing course. Prerequisite: ENG 151, CIN 100.
